Frequently Asked Questions

  1. I’m interested in viewing pricing for the rentals you offer. How can I access your price list? For pricing information, please complete our contact form – please include the date of your event and where the event will take place.
  2. How do I reserve items for my event? To reserve items for your event, please email samantha{at}oldsouthvintagerentals.com with your desired rental list. Please include the date of your event and where your event will take place so that we may send you a quote/invoice with an accurate delivery fee. We do require a 50% non-refundable retainer to reserve your date along with a signed rental agreement. 
  3. When should I reserve my items? As soon as possible. We only accept a limited number of events and operate on a “first come, first serve” basis.
  4. Can I add or delete items from my invoice once the retainer is paid? Items can be added to your order at anytime, per availability. An additional retainer may be required. Items cannot be removed from the invoice, however, within sixty days of the event.
  5. Can I visit your showroom to see everything you have? Absolutely! Showroom visits are by appointment only. Please contact us directly to book an appointment. Please note, all items on our website are not always in our showroom, but may be rented for events or at our Maiden warehouse. If there is something specific in our inventory you would like to see during your showroom visit, please let Samantha know prior to your showroom visit. We will do our best to accommodate your request.
  6. Do y’all deliver? Of course! In fact, we ONLY offer delivery. Picking up items is not an option. This is to ensure our items are handed with utmost care.
  7. How far do y’all deliver? We will go wherever we’re needed! Our showroom is centrally located in Catawba, NC – one hour from Boone, fifty minutes from Charlotte, fifty minutes from Winston Salem, and an hour and a half from Asheville. We frequent Highlands, Raleigh/Durham, Wilmington, as well {in NC} | Columbia, Greenville, Myrtle Beach & Charleston {in SC} | Richmond & Charlottesville {in VA} | Johnson City & Knoxville {in TN}.
  8. I only need an item for a few hours. Do you rent items hourly? No. All of our pricing reflects a 24 hour period. We are flexible when it comes to events, however, per our discretion.
  9. I am interested in renting mismatched vintage china & flatware for my event. Do y’all offer that? No, we only specialize in larger furniture items.
